Grassroots Email Campaign Initiated by BC Social Workers

Yesterday, Monday, March 1 at 4:00 pm PST, the first day of Social Work Month in Canada, we launched Meme Tees: Messages of Hope.

We printed 300 T-shirts for the first run and, as demand warrants, we are taking pre-orders for a second run to be printed towards the end of March. We hope to have the first run of T-shirts in people’s hands by the week of March 15. Please check the blog for updates as we're learning as we go along!

Our hope is that with your help, and the awesome BC social workers, we can send this message across Canada and even around the world. So, we are asking you to please forward this email to one or all of the following:

• Another SW in BC.
• Another SW in another province of Canada.
• Another SW in another country.
• A community partner, colleague, other healthcare workers, housing workers and anyone else across Canada (or around the world!) who believe that safe affordable housing and a liveable income are Medicine.

I’ll endeavour to give updates on the sales of the T-shirts and how the project is progressing. Stay tuned.
